Driving for Field Trips
Field trips are a memorable and enriching part of the Sequoia school experience. To help your squirrel's class attend field trips, register with Oakland Ed Fund and go through all steps required to be an unsupervised parent/guardian volunteer.
Driver paperwork
Every year, all drivers need to submit required paperwork, even if no information has changed from the previous year. These documents can be sent via email to Mayra (mayra.beltranliborio@ousd.org) and Ms. Tracey (tracey.kelp@ousd.org).
1. Signed Driver Declaration form
2. Photocopy of driver license
3. Copy of insurance card
4. Declaration page from insurance policy (this is new, a page that says the liability limits for each incident from the auto policy)
Note: If the insurance policy limits are less than $100k/$300k per incident then the district will say the person can only drive their own student and not other students.
